Memory Maps

2019-2020

This local project will provide illustrated maps on large boards of two walks. One heading north and the other south out of Sanquhar. Supported by the Holywood Trust staff will work with local kids to reconstruct and represent the sites of events and buildings along the two routes. The 8 x 4 foot Memory Maps will be mounted at ZIP and MERZ together with postcards to illustrate two short circular walks from the Tolbooth Museum. The project will be one outcome of a filming and editing programme involving kids from 12-14 in developing their own local TV news channel.
